What is cognition?

Cognition refers to "thinking skills" including memory, attention, executive functioning, organization, processing information, and impulse control.

What is language?

Language refers to the ability to understand what others are saying to you and thinking of the words you want to say. A common term for language difficulty is aphasia.

What is speech?

Speech refers to how clear and easy to understand your words are. Common speech disorders are dysarthria and apraxia.

Causes of cognitive, language and speech difficulty treated by C3 Rehab:

Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Concussion, ADHD, progressive Neurological disorders and diseases, post acute COVID-19 brain fog, and more.

Intuitive Counseling and Coaching:

Develop personalized tools and strategies for coping and adjustment throughout your recovery journey.

Trauma Informed Care and Adverse Childhood Experiences:

C3 Rehab strongly abides by the principles of TIC and ACE’s through a deep understanding of the impact trauma of any kind can have on a persons speech, language and cognitive functioning. Support of each persons mental well-being is an integral part in C3 Rehab’s services.

Length and Location of Services:

Initial evaluations are allotted 2 hours.

Individual therapy sessions are 1 hour.

Sessions are completed via HIPPA compliant, secure telehealth services.

Insurance and Billing:

C3 Rehab is an in-network provider with Medicare Part B and out-of-network provider for all other insurances. Documentation will be provided for clients wishing to file for out-of-network benefit reimbursement, however, payment in full is required at the time of service.

Please note, a physician referral is required for Medicare Part B.

2024 Rates:

Evaluations : $270

Therapy sessions: $135
